Terms and Conditions — Luxury Yacht Charter Monaco

Last updated: October 16, 2026

These terms govern every charter booking made through labandearenaud.com, by email, phone or WhatsApp with Luxury Yacht Charter Monaco. They explain how an enquiry turns into a confirmed charter, what you pay and when, what happens if plans change on either side, and the rules that apply once you step on board. By sending an enquiry or confirming a booking with us, you accept these terms.

1. Scope and who we are

Luxury Yacht Charter Monaco operates the website labandearenaud.com from Monaco and arranges crewed charters, from a few hours on the water to longer itineraries, across a fleet of thirty-four vessels ranging from day-boats and sport-yachts to yachts and superyachts, with day rates starting at €1,700. These terms apply to every charter we arrange for you, whatever the vessel or duration, and they sit alongside the price and inclusions confirmed to you individually for your charter. For any question about a booking, you can reach us at [email protected].

2. How an enquiry becomes a confirmed booking

A charter begins as an enquiry, not a reservation. You can send us the enquiry form with your name, email, optional phone number, your preferred yacht if you already have one in mind, your intended dates, the number of guests and any message, or you can contact us directly by email, phone or WhatsApp.

Once we have your dates, guest numbers and preferences, we come back to you with pricing and inclusions tailored to your charter. Nothing is reserved at this stage, and availability is not guaranteed until it is confirmed in writing.

Your booking is confirmed once you have accepted the proposed terms and we have received your deposit. At that point, the dates, vessel, price and inclusions stated in our confirmation become the agreed basis of your charter.

3. Prices and what is included

The price we quote you for a charter is specific to your dates, your chosen yacht and the itinerary discussed with you. It reflects the charter fee for the vessel and crew for the agreed duration.

Fuel, marina or berthing fees, the advance provisioning allowance (APA) on larger yachts, catering and any other extras you request are charged in addition, exactly as set out in the figures we send you in writing. We do not add any cost that was not included in that confirmation.

4. Payment and deposit

A booking is confirmed once a deposit equal to 40% of the charter fee has been received. The balance of the charter fee is due 10 days before the departure date.

We do not take payment through the website; all payment arrangements are agreed directly with you once your charter is confirmed.

5. Cancellation and changes by the client

We understand that plans can change, and we have set out a clear, voluntary cancellation policy so you know exactly where you stand at every stage. Monaco consumer law applies to your booking; as this is a service for a specific, agreed date rather than a remote sale of goods, no statutory right of withdrawal applies, and the tiers below are the cancellation terms you agree to when you confirm your charter.

  • Cancelling more than 21 days before departure: your deposit is refunded in full.
  • Cancelling between 10 and 21 days before departure: your deposit is retained.
  • Cancelling less than 10 days before departure: the full charter fee becomes due.

Cancellation must be sent to us in writing by email to [email protected]; the date we receive your message, not the date it was written, determines which tier applies. If you wish to change your dates or itinerary rather than cancel, speak to us as early as possible so we can see what the fleet's availability allows.

6. Cancellation by us

If the captain or the relevant port authority considers that weather or sea conditions make the planned charter unsafe, or if a technical issue with the vessel means it cannot safely put to sea, you will be offered the choice between a new date at no extra cost or a full refund of amounts paid. The same choice applies if we have to cancel your charter for reasons beyond our reasonable control. This decision on safety grounds rests with the captain and is final.

7. Guest capacity and safety rules

Every vessel in our fleet has a licensed passenger capacity set by the relevant maritime authority, and the number of guests on board may never exceed that limit. The crew may refuse boarding to any guest whose condition or conduct could endanger the safety of those on board, and such a refusal does not entitle the guest to any refund beyond what is set out in these terms.

8. The captain's authority and itinerary changes

The captain is responsible for the safety of the vessel, crew and guests at all times and has final authority over navigation, speed, anchorages and whether to proceed, delay or cut short any part of the charter. This authority extends to decisions made for reasons of weather, sea state, port instructions or the wellbeing of those on board.

The itinerary discussed with you when booking is the intended plan, not a guarantee of specific stops or timings. The captain may adjust the route, destinations or schedule where conditions, port authorities or safety require it, always aiming to keep as close as possible to what you had in mind.

9. Conduct on board and damage

Guests are expected to follow the crew's safety instructions at all times, including on tenders, when swimming, during watersports and while the vessel is underway or at anchor.

The client is responsible for damage to the vessel, its equipment or its tender caused by guests during the charter, beyond normal wear and tear, and for any resulting costs. We ask that any damage or incident be reported to the crew as soon as it occurs.

10. Personal belongings and liability

Guests are responsible for their own personal belongings brought on board, and we recommend against bringing items of particular value on a charter. We are not liable for loss of or damage to personal belongings unless this results directly from our negligence.

Our liability in connection with a charter is limited to the charter fee paid for that booking, except where liability cannot lawfully be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

11. Complaints

If anything about your charter falls short of what was agreed, please raise it with the captain or crew at the time if possible, so it can be addressed while you are still on board. For any complaint after your charter, write to us at [email protected] with your booking details and a description of the issue, and we will look into it and respond to you directly.

12. Website use, governing law and changes to these terms

The content of labandearenaud.com, including the description of our fleet and services, is provided to help you plan and enquire about a charter and may not be copied or reused for other purposes without our agreement. We aim to keep the information on the site accurate but it does not itself constitute a binding quotation; the price and inclusions confirmed to you in writing for your specific charter take precedence.

These terms are governed by the law of Monaco, and any dispute arising from a booking falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Monaco.

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect how we operate; the version published on labandearenaud.com at the time of your enquiry applies to your booking, and any changes made afterwards do not affect a charter already confirmed in writing.
