Cookie Policy

A cookie is a small text file that a website can leave in your browser to recognise you on a later visit. Local storage and session storage work in a similar way but live inside the browser itself rather than being sent back and forth with every request; local storage stays until it is deleted or expires, while session storage disappears as soon as the tab is closed. We use these terms interchangeably below because, for a visitor, the practical effect is the same: something small is kept on your device.

The website itself places no cookies on your device. We have chosen not to install any third-party analytics, advertising or social-media tracking tools, so nothing on this site feeds data to outside marketing or audience networks. Everything described below either lives briefly in your own browser or is a short technical request needed to display the page correctly.

To understand which pages and yachts attract interest, we run a short counting script served directly from our own domain rather than from an external analytics provider. It records which pages were viewed, time spent on each page, the website that referred the visit, campaign tags carried in the link such as UTM parameters or an advertising click identifier, device type, browser, operating system, screen size, browser language, and the country worked out from your IP address; the IP address itself is not stored. If you send an enquiry or tap a WhatsApp or phone link, that action is linked to the same visit so we know which channel brought it to us.

This measurement relies on random visitor and session identifiers kept in one local storage entry, shown in the table above, which expires automatically 30 days after your last visit and can be removed sooner at any time from your browser settings.

Two further entries, both listed in the table above, make the site more convenient to use. One local storage entry simply remembers that you have already seen and closed our cookie notice, so it does not reappear on every page. One session storage entry remembers which yacht you clicked on from our fleet pages, so that if you then open the enquiry form it is already prefilled with the right yacht; it is deleted the moment you submit the form or close the tab. Neither entry contains your name, email address or any other contact detail.

Two external services are called when a page loads. Google Fonts supplies the typefaces used throughout the site, and jsDelivr delivers the intl-tel-input library that formats the phone-number field in our enquiry form; both, being standard web requests, receive the visitor's IP address as part of that request, but neither places a cookie on our behalf.

The WhatsApp buttons on our pages do nothing until you actually tap them. A tap is first recorded in our own booking system, as described in our Privacy Policy, and only then does your browser open WhatsApp itself; before that click, the button sets nothing on this site. Once WhatsApp opens, the conversation runs entirely within WhatsApp, under Meta's own privacy terms, which are outside our control.

You can inspect, block or delete local storage, session storage and any cookies at any time through your browser's settings, usually found under privacy, security or site data. Clearing this storage will simply remove the cookie-notice preference, the prefilled yacht selection and the visit-measurement identifiers described above; it will not affect any enquiry you have already sent us.

We will keep this page up to date as our site evolves, in line with Monaco's data protection law and the recommendations of the Monaco data protection authority. Should we ever decide to introduce optional cookies, for example for enhanced functionality, we will update this policy and ask for your consent beforehand. Questions about this policy, or any request concerning your data, can be sent to [email protected]; we reply within one month and may ask you to confirm your identity. The supervisory authority for data protection matters in Monaco is the Autorité de Protection des Données Personnelles (APDP).
